Arma 3 Tanoa Life - Alpha Release
After months of excitement, anticipation and hard work we are pleased to announce that our Tanoa Life Private Alpha 1.0 will be released on the 20th December 2016.
Six months ago, we started with a blank sheet, merely ideas and thoughts. Fast forward to today and we have in place an amazing, completely unique and sophisticated framework able to support future developments for years to come.
It is important to understand that Alpha 1.0 is very basic and many ideas published on our forums. discussed on Teamspeak or listed as development projects are not included. At this stage, it is imperative to test the integrity and reliability of our framework before building upon it.
Alpha 1.0 is a great opportunity for feedback, development ideas and bug reports to be made so we can immediately start the development towards Alpha 2.0.
Due to the nature of our mission only civilian slots will be available and in relatively low numbers. If you are expecting it be a fully functioning life server at this stage, then that is not the state of our mission at this current moment in time.
Bohemia Interactive recently approved our Monetisation application, and as such, granted us permission to restrict our Alpha 1.0 as private with only donators and staff being granted access. A minimum donation of £10 is required to be involved in alpha testing and future development involvement (this includes standard donation rewards as outlined on our donation page).
In addition to this, our Tanoa Life mission is protected by our Arma Public Licence (APL). This prevents the copying, reuse or redistribution of any or part of our mission without prior written approval from British Borders management.
On a final note, this is just the first step of many. Developing what we have to date has been thrilling, demanding and at times exhausting but this is just the beginning of a great adventure.
