  2. @eye4567this is how the logs it self will look like. Those will only be accessed by Staff. If this would become available for Judges this wouldn't even be in-game and as a last resort. This information would be accessed on the BB Staff site.
  3. Hello, I'd like to state that a lot of game mechanics are being logged to log files myself in the future is going to look in to having a system where the judge can see the parties involved logs. These logs would state things like: Hid Weapon, Pulled out Weapon, Withdrawed £5000, Unlocked Car, Lockpicked "Name"'s Car, etc.... I can not confirm that these logs will be available to Judges.   4. I get your point but for example the Apex DLC Map Content isn't free for everyone to use you can only load them if you've paid that DLC. We also need to respect Bohemia and can't just find a work around since in my opinion its disrespectful towards their Development Team, they spent massive amounts of time to create these assets not just to get used by everyone. I don't think anyone would like it when your work is used by anyone who feels like it while you set up some requirements. The guns, vans, clothes, mines will not be used if they include the requirement of needing to have purchased the DLC. They will be accessible to everyone who owns the DLC in the shops.   5. I love to see these additions to the game. I feel like they're slightly made for Life Servers but it's a paid DLC (for as far as I heard). This would mean that not everyone could access these items. Which makes it in a way hard to implement it. I hope some of it is free-access like the USS Freedom from Jets. Waffle, Senior Developer
  6. Tanoa Life Beta 1.0 Enters Testing Between the night of the fourth of August and the morning of the fifth our Tanoa Life Mission will go in to Beta Testing for all Patrons and Donators. This decision has been made by the Development Team & The Board due to testing being a definite requirement before a public release and too leave the Development Team a window to fix any encountered bugs. We want all of the Patrons and Donators to actually try and break the mission because the only way to make a stable mission is by trying to break it. Staff and Developers will be setting up scenarios to test out our systems. All acquired items, skills, licences, property, etc. during this phase in the development will be kept on the public release except if there is a major bug in one of our systems that would unbalance the mission. To encourage you guys to find and actively report bugs rewards will be handed to everyone who reports a bug. The mission is almost in a stage where it's playable and enjoyable. We can create the most crazy system but the main core functionality of a life server is still the role play so most of the fun will depend on you guys! We can only create what the community wants to use in role play situations. The bug rewards: Minor Bugs - £100 Medium Bugs - £500 Big Bugs - £1000 Game Breaking Bugs - £2500 After public release information: Well, a lot of information about what is going to happen after the release isn't out there. I'll briefly explain. We want to give our developers freedom. They still develop in there free time it might as well be fun and motivational for them so each developer will focus on what they enjoy to do.   7. @Benedikz 1. Indicators There are a few problems with these scripts. First of all if we create this it will be better our Development is know for pushing the limits of Arma Development. The problem with ideas is you need to map them out as best as you can for example: Having a lot of lights on Law Enforcement Vehicles looks awesome and sounds awesome the problem is that this affects everyone else as well. The way this works is a light gets created at the specified at that specific point but loops which means all members near need to render those lights having 25 people riding behind each other in Georgetown using their indicators would be a disaster due to frames lowering which will result in a lot of collisions. I do like the idea and the team will look in to it but for now you'll need to use your hands like on a bike . Another problem is that not everyone uses a qwerty keyboard. 2. Placeables Placeables will be introduced at a later stage of development but will be limited to factions. Giving players to place objects everywhere would result in a major problem for the staff team and other people, for example seeing the object move in front of you means it is actually physically there for everyone. So trying to place an object on the road and someone just passing at that point or even accidentally hitting someone would result in instant killing anything and believe me it would be abused.   8. Hello Pope, Hexagons will never be implemented in the mission due to the unrealistic nature of them. This is considered by many to be a form of meta-gaming that would offer significant advantage to gangs who are, e.g. Fleeing the police, Gang member being abducted and the ability to know exactly where he is. A basic system will be created straight after release within 3 days it should be released and live on the server. Waffle, Senior Developer

  10. Dear members, Unfortunately a system to create & manage gangs is not in development at this stage right before release. This system will be developed in the future. Of course I'm not stopping anyone from teaming up . But for now an official system for gangs is not being developed and has no set release date. After development our Team will sit down and discuss the course of development for after release. Anyway enjoy the release and believe me this won't stop or hinder any gang.   11. Good evening dear community, Development has been going on schedule and i do not see any delays coming. We have worked with all the time we had to release a well functioning server for you guys to enjoy and spend massive amounts of time on. We are also very pleased to welcome @Bull back to the Development Team. As you know me I'll jump straight in to the developments and information. Developer Status: @Waffle, Mainly I’ve been working on the Faction System this includes ranking, promoting & whitelisting. I’ve done a whole lot of work on the Prison System and we are glad to tell you that you won’t need the same Arma profile name as your chosen character name. I’ve also went ahead and reduced the requirements for passwords. I went ahead and created the paycheck system on the side and the license system. Other than that I revamped the vehicle storage system. @Aron, Has been enhancing his Shop system and creating a wonderful medic system. Aron also finished up his faction terminal. @Crossy, Our new talent to the Development Team created some interesting things. First of all the Bank robbery system, a moving black market on the map, a vehicle menu for doing basic actions to your car like flipping, repairing & pulling out players and as last he did a nice animation menu for you guys to do animations in game. @Bull, has come back to us with full effort starting off with the key system & enhancing the staff system I apologize but this will be all for now.   13. @Jack Webber, A other system will be developed for this. As for on-duty or off-duty, you will have to select a blufor slot or a independent slot wich means you're either on or off there is no way to not be on the duty except for going to civ side.
  14. ALPHA 2.0 IN DEPT RELEASE NOTES Good morning all, As you all know it has been quite sometime since the last update. So i'm pleased to inform you that the Alpha 2.0 Patch will be released today. Developer Status: @Phil, has been creating the GUI for transferring items between virtual inventories. @Waffle, I myself had quite a job to do. A Crafting System, A Vehicle System, Player Name DB Tying, - & ' Name Support and some more small adjustments @Aron, N/A New Features: Refuel system Tablet (Basic) Property System Notification System Skill System Crafting System Vehicle System Vehicle Virtual Inventory System Enhanced Player Name System Bug Fixes & Enhancements: Fixed money duplication Car shop spawns Character health & energy Small bug fixes Script enhancements Shop stocks Username validation Display to show help on how to create an account Small adjustments and improvements to the resource system ' & - Name Support (Joe 'O-Hare, is know possible) Property System: While we're in alpha the property system will stay pretty basic. What do I mean with basic. Well the system depends on dynamic buying & selling. Some more in depth information on this for example i wanted to get rid of my property, I'd have to choose either one of three options: Selling to Government, Selling on the Real Estate Market or Listing it for rent. Let's see what this is all about: Selling to Government: This will sell your property directly for 35% of the property value and will be available on next restart on the real estate market. Selling on the Real Estate Market: This will list your property on the market with a price you choose you will get the amount you chose once your property has been sold. Listing for Rent: This will also list your property on the real estate market for a price per restart of your choosing this amount will automatically deposited to your account every restart if your property is rented to someone. Only the renter can stop this contract or through our Court system (not implemented yet) or if the building is seized by the police. If seized the building will be put back in to your owned property. you will be fined a amount depending of the offense of the renter. Be careful when conducting illegal activities withing your house, depending on the crime the officer can you choose to fine you or have your case moved to the court. If your case is moved to court then a judge will choose what happens with your property. (This system is not implemented yet so this might change in the future). The system only includes residential property at the moment. Until we have set up the Company System & Gang System this will be put on hold because special abilities will be assigned to buildings depending on the company type and gang type. If you have any questions about this system or coming up features be sure to message me personally i'd happily answer your questions. Skill System: The skill system will allow players to truly progress on our server. The aim is to create a system which can positively influence almost every task a player performs on the Server. For example if a player is adept in mining and has mined for a long time he could mine faster and maybe mine more precious metals. If a player then tries to process these metals into an ingot he could also process those ores faster or maybe refine it into a higher grade of that metal. Right now the skill system as a framework is done and we are looking to integrate them into all the different systems we have created so far and all those things to yet to come. (Typed by @Phil) Notification System: The new Notification System from @Aronwill be used to display big events that are happening on the server or that are happening to you personally as a player. Some examples: Being placed under arrest, buying a new car or property, selling property, etc. Crafting System: This small system has been created by me (@Waffle) and it does everything from processing to making more enhanced items. It uses a skill level to check the availability of the item later on this system will be involved in the stock market system Vehicle System: The vehicle system has been created by me (@Waffle) and involves everything from locking & unlocking to storing your vehicles in a garage the system at this moment is set to save the inventory of the vehicle and the virtual inventory of the vehicle. For stopping abuse of using this method to ease your game-play it has been set to delete all items on server restart if your vehicle is still alive in the world. Enhanced Name Support: Due to us being a serious role-play community we have made our player names Data Base tied. In human language: because we cannot change player name through scripting I have created a system to on login check if your DB Name is the same as your role-play name. If they differ from each other you won't be able to connect to our servers. Other then that names now support dashes and apostrophe's (max 2 of these characters in a name). Vehicle Virtual Inventory System: Credits of this system go mostly to @Aron . Because it uses the same system as for the player items. @Phil for making a great looking GUI to transfer items between virtual inventories
